Dear Parsons,
"Dear Parsons," is a platform that visually documents the dialogue between a community and lets it interface with not only a closed community, but also to an external environment. It took the form of an installation at Parsons School of Design's 10th Floor Lab located on 2 West 13th Street. It is a hybrid between a confession and photo booth. It was to track the day to day mood of Parsons students nearing the end of the Fall 2008 semester. Once a "confession" was recorded, it was automatically uploaded to the Dear Parson, website for all to see. This application was written in Python in the NodeBox environment and utilized the Flickr API and Jason Eppink's Flickr slideshow application.
