Frecipes
Frecipes is an online community made up of urban foodies sharing their favourite seasonal recipes using locally grown ingredients. It serves to promote and encourage shopping at greenmarkets by providing a platform for the exchange of recipes centered on locally grown seasonal produce mapping back to where they were purchased. A portal where you can find what is currently in season and how these products are being used serves as inspiration for others to experiment with these ingredients. Rich media content on the vendors who produce the foods provides an interesting narrative of your food and increases the transparency of the food supply chain.
