Digital cameras capture EXIF data for just about everything. When a digital photo is taken, information about the time, shutter speed, aperture, and even location is stored in the header of the photo. The only information that isn't stored is the weather. ISO/72° is a project intiated to . Since no weather API exists that backtracks past weather, I developed a PHP application to parse past weather data available through the Weather Underground, to develop my own weather API of sorts. When you upload a digital photo, it parses the date from the photo's EXIF data and gives you the high temperture in New York City for that day.
