Nimbus Network
Similar to "Dear Parsons," Nimbus Network is a real time mood tracker. An infrared rangefinder sensed the presence of participants walking past the telephone. Once motion was detected, the phone rings, encouraging the participant to pick it up. Once the individual picks up the phone, the phone dials a random phone number in New York and then prompts the user on the line to respond to "Hello. How are you today?". The development platforms used were Arduino and Processing.
